1. The service

Text Watermark Remover ("the service", textwatermarkremover.org) is a free utility with two modes: Quick Clean, which detects and removes invisible Unicode characters entirely in your browser, and Deep Rewrite, which paraphrases text through a third-party language model API. The service is provided as-is, free of charge, without accounts or sign-up.

2. No guarantee of results

The service is a best-effort utility. We do not guarantee that cleaned or rewritten text will pass Anthropic's or any other official watermark detector, and we make no claim about third-party AI-detection tools. Statistical watermarks (such as Claude's SynthID-Text) cannot be verified without the official detector, which is not public.

3. Acceptable use

You are responsible for how you use the output. You must comply with the rules that apply in your context — including academic integrity policies, employment agreements, platform terms, and applicable law. You may not use the service to misrepresent authorship where disclosure is required, or for any unlawful purpose.

4. Usage limits

Quick Clean is free and unlimited. Deep Rewrite is limited per device per day (a base quota plus optional share-based bonuses). We may change, suspend, or withdraw these limits at any time. Attempting to circumvent the limits or abuse the service (automated scraping, attacks, excessive traffic) may result in access being blocked.

5. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the text you submit and to the output produced from it. The site, its design, and its code remain the property of the service operator. This site is not affiliated with Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, or xAI.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service — including decisions made based on detection or cleaning results.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The date above reflects the latest version. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
